Emergency Medicine Consultant – Broad Rural Catchment with Coastal Living Northern NSW

Step into a Consultant Emergency Physician role within a regional emergency department managing a diverse and high-acuity case mix across trauma, acute medicine, and rural emergency presentations.

This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in clinical leadership, supervision, and service development within a department continuing to evolve its models of care. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team delivering frontline emergency care while contributing to training, quality improvement, and patient flow strategies.

Candidates nearing completion of FACEM, those undergoing peer review, or within 3 months of fellowship are encouraged to enquire.

The Requirements
• Fellowship of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEM) or nearing completion
• Eligible for Specialist Registration with AHPRA
• Candidates under peer review or within 3 months of fellowship encouraged to apply
• Strong clinical skills across a broad emergency medicine scope
• CA pathway or comparable international candidates interested in transitioning to Australia are encouraged to enquire
